Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales position will play a vital role in helping the Comba sales team and sales directors by providing both administrative and customer/distributor support. Their responsibilities are focused on ensuring smooth sales transactions, improving customer satisfaction/retention, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the sales team. 

Key Resposibilities:

  • Customer Communication: 
    • Serve as a liaison between the sales team and all customers/distributors, managing inquiries, providing information, and addressing sales concerns. 
    • Communicate with customers via phone and email. 
    • Order Processing: 
    • Processing and entering all sales orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.  
    • Coordinate with Operations to help prompt order fulfillment. 
  • Quotation and Proposals Assistance: 
    • Prepare and deliver sales quotes and proposals for Sales Directors, new customers, and Distributors. 
    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure correct and prompt information.  
    • Documentation and Record Keeping: 
    • Maintain, organize, and keep up-to-date customer information, orders, and account contacts within CRM. 
    • Help to ensure Data Accuracy and consistency within the Comba CRM Platform. 
  • Product Knowledge: 
    • Develop a solid understanding of Comba offerings to effectively communicate features to potential customers. 
    • Provide product information and support to customers. 
  • Sales Reporting: 
    • Help to generate and compile sales reports for analysis by sales leadership. 
    • Provide insights into sales performances, trends, and customer feedback. 
  • Problem Resolution: 
    • Address and resolve customer issues and concerns in a prompt and effective manner. 
    • Work with Operations to ensure a prompt resolution.        

Requirements:

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Sales, Marketing, or similar), but not required
    • Relevant experience matters more than a specific degree
  • Experience
    • 2–5 years in inside sales, sales support, or customer service
    • Experience working in a B2B environment (distributors, OEMs, or similar).
    • Comfortable handling order entry, quoting, and customer communication
  • Skills
    • Strong attention to detail — accuracy in orders and quotes is critical
    • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks without slipping through the cracks
    • Clear and professional communication (email and phone)
    • Able to solve problems without needing constant direction
    • Comfortable working with different teams (Sales, Operations, customers)
    • Solid working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and general business systems
    • Experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus
