  • Signal Booster Interaction & Interference

Course Testing Scope

  • The test must be completed within one (1) hour
  • The test will consist of 31 total questions
  • The student can use the Comba provided calculator and formula sheet
  • The student must receive a score of 75% or higher to receive a certificate of completion
  • The student with 75% or higher passing rate will be provided access to the Comba Marketing Team and granted access to the Comba Training Portal
  • The Comba Marketing Team will generate a certificate of completion and sent to the System Integrator POC for distribution.
  • An overall student score sheet will be provided to the System Integrator POC for their records, and consist of:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email Address
    • Total Missed
    • Score (out of 31 questions)
    • Percentage (based on 30 questions

 Description:

The RF 101 and CriticalPoint BDA NG training and certification class is a comprehensive 2-day course to provide in-depth RF training for public safety wireless communications network.  The training will prepare the student on how to properly conduct a link budget and avoid common mistakes when commissioning a public safety BDA.

The first day consists of a full 8-hours and instructs the student on RF principle and theories.  The second day covers 2 hours of instruction on the installation and commissioning of Comba’s CriticalPoint public safety BDA along with best practices.

 

After the training, an examination is given covering all the topics.  If passed, the student will receive a CriticalPoint BDA NG certification which is often required by the local AHJ when submitting plans for approval of the BDA.
